for 2024 onwards, I have accepted to become a permanent member of the Art by The Water team! This meant another full year of painting wildlife in preparation for the show at the end of April. This was the 15th year anniversary of the show, so very exciting for all, and quite an accomplishment for the founding members.

We partnered with the Simon Chang Foundation for Change this year (https://www.simonchang.com/the-foundation.html) and helped raise money for “fidget boxes” to help children and adults with special needs in various schools in the English school board of Montreal.

I was asked to be an invited artist to the annual Art By the Water show and vernissage at Beaconsfield Yacht Club in April. Every year the organization chooses a different charity to partner with, to help raise money for a worthy cause. This year, the funds raised will go to support The Liam Foundation to help raise money for the fight against mitochondrial disease. https://www.theliamfoundation.net/

2019 was an exciting year for me, as I did my first mini-show at the Pointe-Claire Plaza. It was really fantastic to talk and get to know some great local artists! Thanks to the Galerie d’Art Pointe-Claire for organizing this.
